Hope

Running on a jogging track

Like a prisoner who has broken the bars

Wondering where she was and

Was that the place she wished for?

The question spun in her mind

Making her more confused

But, she never knew whether

It was the right approach

She knew what she wanted

Could never be achieved

Still, something made her walk

But, she didn’t know what it was

At last she tried asking God for it

But then she abruptly stopped

Even her heart was questioning

What she wanted

Am I capable of all that

She asked herself

The answer was "YES"!

And then she waited

Waited for that "yes" to be fulfilled

Waited for the stars of her life to shine

Waited for a re-birth

Which she desperately wanted

One day God whispered to her

Ordered here not to be disheartened

Up welled the hope inside her

Which made her climb all the ladders
